Coach Tania founded Playball Auckland CBD after she fell in love with the program while working full-time as head coach. Based in central Auckland we cover suburbs from Mt Albert, Point Chevalier, Westmere, Grey Lynn, Ponsonby, Herne Bay, CBD. We also have a couple of classes in Onehunga, Three Kings and Avondale.Our Playball Auckland CBD coaches have a real passion for child development, striving to develop the whole child through using sport as a vessel. We make fantastic relationships with the children we coach and look forward to going to work every day. Come and have some fun with us!

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport, Health, and Physical Education, she has combined her love for sports, fitness, and working with children to deliver a program that helps young athletes thrive. Tania is deeply committed to nurturing children’s growth and development, both physically and socially. She believes in the power of play-based learning and takes great joy in seeing kids build confidence, coordination, and essential life skills through Playball. Her warm, encouraging and enthusiastic approach ensures that every child feels supported, engaged, and excited to participate. As a leader, Tania fosters a positive and inclusive environment, not only for the children but also for parents, teachers, and coaches. Her goal is to provide an unforgettable experience where kids develop a lifelong love for movement and sports. |

Joshua Clements
Meet Coach Josh- he is a passionate and patient coach with a lifelong love for sports. From a young age, he has enjoyed being active and encouraging others to get involved. His coaching journey began with volunteer work, where he developed the skills to engage and motivate younger athletes while making sessions fun and inclusive. Josh recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport & Recreation (majoring in Sport & Exercise Science) at AUT, giving him a strong foundation in movement, skill development, and coaching strategies. He also coaches at Rugby Tots, working with children aged 2-7, which has further enhanced his ability to teach and connect with young kids. At Playball, Josh brings patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to every session, helping children build confidence, coordination, and a love for movement in a supportive and engaging environment. |

Our Classes
Scroll down to see CLASS VENUES and to BOOK your class!Playball Classes are age specific for children aged 2-9yrs. Classes are run in preschools, schools and in public venues and are aligned with the school terms.
Preschool classes for children ages 2-5yrs are delivered at:
Childcare Centres
Children at the centre can book in and join the class run onsite at daycare! No more rushing here and there and everywhere to get to extra curricular activities between all the other things in your week!
School classes for children aged 5-9yrs:
School classes are run either before school from 8-8.40am, at lunch time, or after school from 3-4pm. Parents are welcome to come in for the session or pick up after the class.

Our Camps
Playball Auckland CBD occasionally runs holiday programmes.Children are kept busy in an interactive learning environment during our holiday programmes. Practicing sport & movement while having fun with our specialised Playball coaches! Each day focuses on a different sport skill mixed with a variety of different games and activities.
The purpose of our Playball holiday programme is to provide high quality, age-appropriate and fun holiday activities for children aged 4-6 years.
