Welcome to our Playball family, where children are motivated to want to play, be active and learn essential fundamental skills for all ball sports. We are a multi-sport group that encourages all-round development through structured sports play sessions.

Children thrive in our fun filled, high quality sport lessons. Creating a learning environment, which boosts confidence and self-esteem, is paramount in all the Playball programs. The children will be coached to engage confidently in a wide range of sport skills, preparing them for years of positive, competent sports participation.

We offer Playball in the following areas: Kraaifontein, Durbanville, Parow, Brackenfell, Kuilsriver and Bellville.

My name is Liezel. I have been a coach with Playball Oostenberg since 2016. Since I can remember I’ve been working with children and do it for the love and fun of it. Working with children has always been a passion for me. I also have twins of my own and therefore having fun in a learning environment comes naturally.

My name is Charmain, I’m a mother of 4 children and have spent most of my life in the sporting environment. As a youngster I achieved colours for gymnastics and softball. I worked in the corporate environment for 26 years but I still had a yearning to coach sports and I found Playball to be ideal as I could coach various sports to foundations phase children. Playball is diverse and very interactive.

My name is Sunet Vermeulen and I've owned the franchise since 2012. This is the most fulfilling and rewarding career path as I get to help children develop holistically and live out the business side of things. Purposeful learning in a fun environment is the name of the game!

Our Camps

Playball holiday camps are tailored to meet the needs of younger children and are based on the fundamental sport skills for tennis, hockey, cricket, golf, football, rugby, basketball, football, volleyball - just about any ball sport you can imagine!

The purpose of our Playball holiday camps is to provide high quality, age-appropriate and fun holiday activities for children aged 3-9 years.

Schools

Many school principals all over the world have implemented the Playball program as part of their school curriculum. They have seen for themselves the benefits Playball has given their children and the value Playball has added to their school. Playball classes are currently being offered in nurseries, pre-schools and primary schools in more than 16 countries around the world.

The Playball Curriculum is designed to complement an existing schools gross motor and sports program and has developed lesson plans in consultation with leading child specialists. While the program will nurture the sports stars of the future, more importantly, by encouraging every child to participate, Playball will provide all the children in your school with a spring board into future team participation.
